Welcome

As you may know, I am retiring from the U.S. Senate on January 2, 2015. Because of the limited amount of time remaining in my term, my office will no longer be able to accept new requests for assistance with federal agencies as of the close of business on October 3, 2014. This will hopefully allow my staff and me to complete work on existing requests from constituents.

Helping Michigan residents resolve problems with federal agencies is one of my most important responsibilities as a U.S. senator. It has been gratifying to be in a position to provide assistance in this way, and my staff and I will continue to work to resolve as many cases as possible before I leave office on January 2nd.

While my office is no longer able to accept new cases, please feel free to contact Senator Debbie Stabenow's office through her website (http://www.stabenow.senate.gov/services), by phone at 517-203-1760 or by postal mail at 221 W. Lake Lansing Road, Suite 100, East Lansing, MI  48823. She and her office are aware of this transition. And, of course, you may contact your member of the U.S. Congress. Follow this link (http://www.house.gov/representatives/) and enter your zip code at the top of the page to find your representative and then click on the link for that member’s website.

If you have a matter that requires immediate attention, you can call my Detroit office at 313-226-6020. My staff can help to direct you to the appropriate office or in some instances may be able to handle an urgent issue that can be resolved quickly.
