Today, Rep. Chris Stewart (R-Utah) voted in favor of the Preventing Executive Overreach on Immigration Act of 2014, which passed the House. This bill nullifies the president’s recent immigration executive action and reaffirms the constitutional principles that only Congress has the power to write immigration laws and that the President’s role is to enforce existing laws.

Today, Rep. Chris Stewart (R-Utah) voted in favor of The Tax Increase Prevention Act of 2014, which passed the House of Representatives in a bipartisan vote of 378-46. This bill renews about 50 individual and business tax benefits which have expired in the past year. Stewart released the following statement after the passage of the bill:
