NEW MILFORD - A local arm of a national nonprofit that has rehabilitated nearly 200 homes in Litchfield County over the past decade has been awarded a $50,000 federal grant to help fund its efforts.
NEW MILFORD -- Ceia Webb has high praise for the U.S. Department of Agriculture for its assistance in meeting the needs of low-income senior citizens in Litchfield County.
Webb is executive director of Rebuilding Together of Litchfield County, and her organization has received a $50,000 Housing Preservation Grant through the USDA to help with its outreach.
NEW MILFORD, CT – Today, U.S. Senators Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) and Chris Murphy (D-Conn) and U.S. Representative Elizabeth Esty (D-Conn.) announced that Rebuilding Together of Litchfield County will receive a $50,000 Housing Preservation Grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
NEW BRITAIN, CT – Today, Rep. Elizabeth Esty applauded the passage of the bipartisan Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act, H.R. 647, which establishes tax-preferred savings accounts for individuals with disabilities. The U.S. House of Representatives passed the ABLE Act by a bipartisan vote of 404 to 17.
