U.S. CHAMBER OF COMMERCE HONORS INHOFE
May 2, 2012
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Chamber of Commerce recently honored U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), a leading fiscal conservative, with the Spirit of Enterprise Award. This annual award was presented to Inhofe for his support of pro-jobs and pro-economic growth policies during the first session of the 112th Congress.
“The Obama economy has been a disaster while showing that increased deficit spending by the government and over-regulating job creators chokes our economy,” said Inhofe. “President Obama has tried to raise taxes on small businesses, and that will just hurt our economy even more. I’m humbled to receive this award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. I remain committed to supporting economically sound policies that will rein in government overspending and bring more Americans back to work. Only then, when our nation is free from government intrusion and regulation, will our nation’s economy improve once and for all.”
