House Foreign Affairs Committee

As a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Congressman Deutch is deeply engaged in legislation involving international relations, economic sanctions and diplomacy, foreign assistance, national security and arms control, peacekeeping, and an array of other international issues. House Judiciary Comittee
Serving on the House Judiciary Committee has given Congressman Deutch the opportunity to debate important legislative issues that impact everything from civil rights and liberties and consumer protections to campaign finance and criminal law enforcement. The Judiciary Committee has oversight over all legislation involving the administration of the courts, the apportionment of congressional districts, issues surrounding bankruptcy, intellectual property, and counterfeiting, immigration policy and non-border enforcement, national penitentiaries, and other issues.
