2013 Inauguration Tickets

Thank you for your interest in attending the Fifty-Seventh Presidential Inauguration on January 21, 2013.  Congressman Rangel is accepting requests for a very limited number of tickets to the Inauguration.  SUBMITTING A REQUEST DOES NOT GUARANTEE TICKETS FOR THE INAUGURATION.  Only residents from the 15th Congressional District of New York may submit a request through Congressman Rangel's office.  Constituents may submit one request per address for a maximum of two tickets.

The number of requests will far exceed available tickets, however we will do our best to meet as many requests as possible.  When we receive the tickets, our office will notify ticket recipients and provide details on how to collect tickets.  Please note that any tickets distributed at that time must be collected in person at one of our Congressional offices and will not be mailed.

The Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies is responsible for organizing the Presidential Inaugural Ceremonies that will take place at the U.S. Capitol. Please visit their website, http://www.inaugural.senate.gov/, for the most up to date information on inaugural events, including accessing tickets for the Inaugural Balls and seating at the parade. All official tickets for the Inaugural Swearing-In Ceremonies will be provided free of charge. Please be aware of potential scams. No website or ticket outlet has official tickets for the Inaugural Swearing-In Ceremonies to sell, regardless of what they may claim.

Balls, Galas, Parties and Parade

The Presidential Inaugural Committee will form soon and we will provide contact information as soon as it is available.  The Presidential Inaugural Committee is solely responsible for all balls, galas, receptions, parties, and the official Inaugural Day parade – these do not fall under the purview of the Joint Congressional Committee.

Requests to participate in the official Inaugural Day parade or to provide entertainment at all balls, galas, receptions or parties should in the interim be referred to the Joint Task Force - National Capital Region (JTF-NCR).  A participation application for the parade can be found on the JTF-NCR website at http://www.2013inaugurationparade.mil/.  After requests are collected, they are submitted to the Presidential Inaugural Committee for participant selection.  Additional information may also be found on the following websites:  http://www.inaugural.senate.gov  or Facebook.com/JCCIC.
