Earthshots: Satellite Images of Environmental Change
Side by side images showing the Aral Sea of central Asia shrinking in size by half from 1998 to 2010 Introduce students to remote sensing by showing examples of environmental change from around the world. Changes can be difficult to see from the ground, but a broader view using satellite imagery shows a detailed record of landscape changes. This site has been updated with more images and explanations.
