About Florida's 23rd District |
Florida's 23rd district contains portions of Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, and Hendry Counties. Geographically, the district is unique in that it includes both urban and rural areas. In particular, it is home to the Everglades, the largest subtropical wilderness in the United States and a World Heritage Site. The district also includes Lake Okeechobee, which is the seventh largest freshwater lake in the United States and the largest in the State of Florida. The district's economy is driven by a variety of industries, including agriculture, construction, manufacturing, trade, and tourism. I am truly honored to represent such a unique district, which is not only diverse in its industries but also in the makeup of its communities.
