White House Tour Requests

Congressman McGovern is pleased to announce that the White House is open for public tours. Please note the following guidelines:

• Per the White House Visitors' Center, tours should be requested through my office at least 12 weeks in advance and up to 6 months in advance, especially for tours during the spring and summer, which are peak vacation months.  Due to the overwhelming demand for tours, the White House cannot accomodate all requests.  Submitting your request early does not gaurantee a tour, especially if you are only available for one or two days.

• Tours are available mornings only, Tuesday - Saturday.

• The White House Visitors' Center also requires full name, date of birth and social security number for each member of your party. Please have this information available upon hearing from staff.
