Request a Visit from Congressman Cleaver's Mobile Office

As you may know, Congressman Cleaver does not have a vehicle for his private use—instead, he leases a vehicle for constituent service and assistance. Unlike most other Members, the Congressman has a mobile office which  brings our office and all its capabilities to you, in your neighborhood, at schools, businesses, nursing homes, libraries, fairs, and more. Because the expense of a mobile office is considerably less than the rent for another district office, it saves taxpayers money.

The mobile office is part of a long tradition for Missouri’s Fifth District; Congressman Cleaver’s predecessors, Congressman Allan Wheat and Congressman Dick Bolling also used mobile offices to offer more accessibility for constituents. The Congressman’s mobile office is one of a kind, however, in that it is powered by a diesel engine, specially converted to run on vegetable oil gathered and filtered from restaurants from around the District.

Would you like to see the Mobile Office come to your neighborhood? Please feel free to call the office at (816) 842-4545 to request a visit, or fill out the form below. We look forward to hearing from you--and to paying you a visit!
