Tours Requiring Congressional Assistance

The White House is the only tour that requires congressional assistance in order to obtain tickets. Before a White House tour can be requested, the following information for each guest is required: Full name (including middle initial), Gender, Date of Birth, Social Security Number, Area Code and Phone Number, City and State of Current Residence, and Country of Birth. Please only include possible dates for which you are available for a tour, not the dates you are traveling. To place a ticket request, please gather together all of the required information and then call my Washington, D.C. Office (202.225.7751) and speak with a member of my staff, or e-mail the information directly to Cindy Blackburn (Cindy.Blackburn@mail.house.gov).

Note: White House tours are granted at the sole discretion of White House Visitor Services. Although my office hopes your tour request is granted, we cannot guarantee that this will be the case.  Tours can be requested as far as six months in advance, but no fewer than 30 days in advance.

Tours Not Requiring Congressional Assistance

Some of the most popular attractions to visit while in D.C. include the U.S. Capitol Building, the Library of Congress, National Archives, the Supreme Court, the Pentagon, and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. You can obtain tickets to each of these places by visiting each attraction’s respective websites. Additionally, I invite you to read through my office’s tour brochure or visit our tourism page for additional ideas on enjoyable places to visit. These tours are an excellent way to see all that the nation’s capital has to offer and most, if not all, are at no charge to you.

Note: Congressional assistance is not required to obtain tickets for the Capitol Building, but my office is more than happy to help you schedule a personal Captiol Tour. My office can also provide House gallery tickets to you upon request. Please call my Washington, D.C. office for further information.
