OMAHA, NE – Congressman Lee Terry (R-NE) released the following statement after the announcement by AT&T to invest $14 billion to expand its broadband network:

“As the Internet continues to occupy a bigger part of our everyday lives, our nation's access to information will remain closely linked to our access to high speed broadband.  AT&T realizes this and remains committed to broadband expansion.  We must continue to encourage companies to expand and enhance our communications infrastructure because private sector investment is the backbone of our economy. I applaud AT&T for investing in our digital future.”
