Water Resources and Development Act of 2010
In accordance with policies put forth by the Transportation & Infrastructure Committee, the information noted below is provided:
For consideration in the 2010 Water Resources & Development Act (WRDA -2010), I am requesting an adjustment to the project boundary for the Des Moines Recreational River & Greenbelt in Iowa. The project is requested on behalf of the City of Fort Dodge, Iowa. The purposes of the project are tied to recreation, environmental protection and restoration, and flood damage reduction. The Corps of Engineers is interested in this project, also, as it is necessary for two important segments of the project to be built along the Des Moines River.
