Tips for Visiting Capitol Hill:

  • House Galleries - When Congress is in session, visitors are allowed to view live debate in the House and Senate Galleries from 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM from Monday through Friday. To obtain passes to the Galleries, simply visit the Washington office located in 1039 Longworth House Office Building.
*Please note that children under the age of ten must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Meals - Cafeterias are located throughout the Capitol complex in the Capitol Visitor Center, Longworth House Office Building, Rayburn House Office Building, Dirksen Senate Office Building, and the James Madison Memorial Annex to the Library of Congress.
  • Transportation - Since parking is extremely limited in Washington, taxis, buses, and the Metrorail subway are the easiest forms of transportation to and from Capitol Hill.

The Capitol South Metro station is the closest station to our office. For additional details on the Washington Area Metropolitan Transit Authority (METRO), please visit: http://www.wmata.com/.
