Rep. Steve Southerland, II (R-FL) leads the fight to prohibit expansion of catch shares on fisheries along the Gulf and Atlantic coasts. Southerland, whose amendment was approved by a 220-191 margin, was supported by a bipartisan coalition of House members, including Reps. Michael Grimm (R-NY) and Barney Frank (D-MA).
