Congressman Tierney spends a substantial amount of time working in Washington, D.C. That work involves attending hearings held by the Committees on which he serves, reviewing legislation, policy memos and constituent correspondence, voting on the House of Representatives floor, discussing and advancing legislative ideas with his colleagues and staff, responding to inquiries from the press, and participating in meetings with those visiting from the District and others on domestic and foreign policy issues.

John believes it is important to be as open and as transparent as possible about his work in Congress and about how the House functions. The below links provide further information on his voting record, legislation that Congressman Tierney has sponsored or co-sponsored, the 2011 legislative calendar, which is subject to adjustments based on the decisions of House leadership, and the House floor proceedings. He hopes it is useful to you.
