Art Competition

Congratulations to Michelle Guo of Ho-Ho-Kus for taking first place in the 2012 Congressional Art Competition! Her winning piece, “My Favorite Things,” will be displayed at the U.S. Capitol Building for a full year alongside other winning pieces from around the country.

This year’s second, third, and fourth place pieces will be on display in my Washington D.C., Glen Rock, and Newton offices, respectively. I would like to thank the students and teachers who participated and made this year’s competition a success. I would also like to thank Sussex County Art Society for judging the pieces and Sussex County Community College for hosting the event.

Be on the lookout at the start of 2013 for information about next year’s Congressional Art Competition!
