Senator Wicker Speaks on Senate Floor Regarding the Nation's Growing Federal Debt

WASHINGTON, DC -- Senator Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) Friday spoke on the Senate Floor highlighting the nation's growing federal debt. Wicker pointed out that the mainstream media neglected to cover major issues like the growing debt while giving coverage to minor items. He was joined by Senator Jeff Sessions, Ranking Member of the Budget Committee. From The Hill: "The president of the United States is doing everything he can to change the subject from that real central issue of our faltering economy and yes, the mainstream media is out there playing trivial pursuit and talking about everything that is not important and that is a distraction," Wicker said on the Senate floor Friday.
