Wicker Statement on Toyota's Announcement to Resume Operations in Mississippi

WASHINGTON - On the news that Toyota will resume operations in Mississippi, U.S. Senator Roger Wicker (R-MS) issued the following statement: “This is wonderful news for Mississippi and is an optimistic sign for the economy as a whole. We have been anxiously waiting for this day since Toyota selected Blue Springs. The Toyota Corolla is the third bestselling car in America. This means greater job security for the 2000 Mississippians who will soon be hired. I am thankful to Toyota for keeping its promise to us.”
