“December 7, 1941, is a day that will always live in infamy. On this terrible day, 2,402 Americans were killed and 1,282 were wounded. We will never forget those who lost their lives on this day as well as the incredible patriotism and resiliency that Americans displayed in the aftermath of the terrible, unprovoked attack that propelled our nation into World War II."

Rangel released the following statement after the Department of Labor after the Department of Labor reported that the economy added 146,000 jobs and the unemployment rate fell to 7.7 percent in November. With 147,000 jobs added by private businesses, this marks the 33rd consecutive month of private sector job growth.
