"Gas prices have more than doubled since George Bush became our president. Elect Democrats in November if you don't like these outrageous gas prices, if you feel that the oil companies have been given a free ride by the president and vice president--vote for Democrats who will vote for changes in our energy policy." --presidential candidate Hillary Clinton

We voted a Democrat into the White House in 2008, Mrs. Clinton, and we won't make the same mistake again this November.

Oil does go up, and down. Funny you blame speculators though. After it was almost $150, it fell under $40 as well. If the greedy speculators and gredy oil companies, and greedy OPEC, and any other fucking bogeyman you name can do it, why do they come down? Oil was almost $50 in 1980, was $10 in 1999. Speculators do not control market prices.

Haha, it's funny cause we did. :P Hurr.

Btw, they did invest in making changes to our energy policy's. The bills set to pass got blocked by the Republicans. Holy shit to that. Then the Gas companies endorsed Republican campaigns and funding. "Free Market, Trickle Down!" I love wild theories. Don't you?

Now we're paying $3.53 per gallon, President Obama has blocked all domestic drilling and has cost us millions of jobs.

Nope. First, it will take years to build. Second, the oil will be exported out of the US, and third, recent studies have shown it will actually INCREASE oil prices in the US. So, no, he doesn't actually control the gas prices.

Wow - incredible. We have no comprehensive energy policy under Obama - other than crony capitalism funding the likes of Solyndra and the like. He killed the pipeline, froze exploration, and then is surprised gas prices go up. Moron. What's left? Demonize oil companies because there is nothing left to do. Oil companies margins are significantly less than other industries, but because Barry never had a real job he doesn't realize this. Elect him again and we are doomed.

a Toyota Prius may not be feasible for a business such as landscaping/lawn-mowing, plumbers, electricians, carpenters, construction companies, and so many more - who need a pickup truck or a full size van to operate. Furthermore if a Prius could tow more than an F150, it's still between $5000 and $10000 more expensive.
