Rep. Pascrell listens to Mitrajit Mukherjee, president and CEO of Exelus, Inc. (right), explain the chemical engineering breakthroughs discovered at his company's Livingston headquarters. With the help of the Recovery Act and other federal grant programs, Exelus has developed the technology to convert refinery waste products and biomasses such as sawdust and common yard waste into gasoline.
