Washington, D.C.--Wave Hill was awarded a $20,000 National Endowment for the Arts grant to support the Family Arts Project Congressman Eliot Engel announced. The project is a series of weekend workshops to provide families the opportunity to create nature-based art projects inspired by craft traditions from around the world.

Rep. Engel said, “I am always proud and happy to announce a grant for Wave Hill, an organization that the Bronx, and the whole city, can be proud of, not least for its community involvement. It is a jewel in a beautiful setting.”

Claudia Bonn, President and Executive Director of Wave Hill, said, “We are thrilled to get this grant and I thank Congressman Engel for his help.”
