D.C. area forecast: Cool and dry next few days before weekend shower threat

To be honest, I thought Mother Nature would come up with something more memorable for 12/12/12 than a near-average winter day. The only real mystery today is exactly how much sun we see, whereas tomorrow we’re more sure to see plenty of it. Temperatures warm a bit Friday and Saturday before our next chance of showers arrives.
