Mikulski Calls for Greater Safety and Security of US Drug Supply Chain

U.S. Senator Barbara Mikulski (D-Md.), a senior member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee, today participated in a hearing examining the quality, integrity and security of the United State's drug supply chain. The hearing, "Securing the Pharmaceutical Supply Chain," focused on how to provide the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) with the resources necessary to better combat counterfeit, diverted and intentionally adulterated drugs to ensure the safety of our nation's drug supply chain.
