The president's health care law is a threat to the well being of our nation, not just financially, but also to the quality and responsiveness of our health care system. Regardless of the Supreme Court's decision, this law must be fully repealed so that we may move forward with positive, patient-centered solutions that respect and protect the rights of patients to make health care decisions with their doctors and to seek health care coverage that meets their needs, not those of the government. The Empowering Patients First Act would ensure that individuals maintain control over their health care decisions and that we respect the principles we hold dear.

When are these free market fanatics going to understand that private industry health insurance is the never going to work. Asking people to choose a health plan that covers their needs is like asking them to bet on the chamber the bullet is in, in a game of Russian roulette. If I choose a plan with low payout for catastrophic illness because I am young & healthly then acquire such an illness I played the odds & lost. Tom Price is asking me to gamble with my health. No thank you.
