Congressional Art Competition

Each spring, the U.S. House of Representatives hosts the Congressional Art Competition, An Artistic Discovery.  Held annually since 1982, this nationwide competition has allowed each Congressional District to highlight the outstanding artistic achievement of one talented student. The winning piece is displayed for one year in the Cannon Tunnel of the United States Capitol. This is an exciting way for high school students in the 21st District of Florida to showcase their artistic ability and creativity as well as represent South Florida in our nation’s capitol. For submission deadlines and more information, please call (305) 470-8555.
