Retiring Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) on Wednesday reflected on “tweeting” in his farewell speech to the Senate.
“When I started here in the Senate, a BlackBerry was a fruit, and tweeting was something only birds did,” he said in his final speech on the floor of the Senate on Wednesday. He leaves the Senate in January after 24 years.
