    There have NOT been 1.2 million horizontal fracturing wells drilled in the Marcelleus Shale; this statistic cannot be used to reject regulation of horizontal fracturing wells in shale. This comment also ignores the problem with deep well injection of wastewater -- a technology that is documented to cause problems if not done properly.
