Rep. Ron Kind introduces an amendment to the GOP spending bill that would have ended two wasteful military programs that the U.S. Department of Defense wants eliminated for a total of $13 billion in savings. This amendment was rejected by a majority of House Republicans.

    Thanks for standing up Mr. Kind. How a majority of the House Republicans rejected this amendment is quite telling. The largest entitlement program in the US is the Military/Police Industrial Complex. It appears that very few of your collegues will admit this. Have our Social Security receipts been transferred to The Military/Police Industrial Complex? BTW if you voted for the Patriot Act, I am very disappointed.

    Ok Congressman Kind I'm with you here. We need cuts in defense spending, especially on weapons systems we do not need and will not use. We also need to end our current wars and bring our troops home. We need to bring them home from Western Europe, Asia, the Middle East, hell everywhere. We could save billions. Also we need to reform entitlements and welfare programs. Will you be ready to do that?

    BTW I'm very disappointed in your vote to renew the Patriot Act. Very disappointed.
