On Wednesday, December 5, 2012, Senator Barbara Mikulski (D-Md.) called on FEMA and HUD leaders to take immediate action to assist communities on the Eastern Shore working to recover and rebuild from the devastation of Super-Storm Sandy. Senators Mikulski and Ben Cardin (also D-Md.) participated at a hearing of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Homeland Security entitled "Hurricane Sandy: Response and Recovery -- Progress and Challenges."
