More than two years years after the BP oil spill, Congress overwhelmingly passes the RESTORE Act. The president is expected to sign the bill into law soon.

    Fantastic, thanks, wish our fragile environment had healed in the just two years it took you to enact RESTORE. Before he died I recorded local troubadour Mark McLaughlin singing a lovely dirge he wrote about how BP killed a little bird that landed in front of him, "all covered in black." The sad irony is, not only did BP kill the bird but it indirectly killed Mick, because he could not earn enough tips for his heart medication which ran out. How will the Act help these "street musicians"?
