2010 Congressional Art Competition

2010 Annual Congressional Art Competition: An Artistic Discovery.

This unique competition provides members of the U.S. House of Representatives an opportunity to showcase the artistic talents of high school students within their districts, thereby acknowledging our nation’s gifted young artists.

Since the first competition in 1982, thousands of high school students have been able to participate at the local level. The winning entry from each participating district-wide contest is displayed in the U.S. Capitol for a period of one year.
