As part of the "It Gets Better Project," Congresswoman Linda Sánchez has a message of support for LGBT teens who face bullying and harrassment at school. In 2011, Congresswoman Sánchez reintroduced the "Safe Schools Improvement Act," which would require all schools to have an anti-bullying policy that protects students from bullying and harassment. This bill would protect students, whether they are being targeted based on their race, gender, real or perceived sexual orientation, or any other basis.
