This man violated his oath by voting for the NDAA. He's nothing but a neo-con, AIPAC tool.

I don't know if he's nuts, or pretending to be nuts. I'm glad he'll be out of a job in two weeks.

So finally, I don't believe that the occupy crowd are Communists and Marxists simply because they criticize Capitalism. It's what they SUPPORT in place of Capitalism that alarms me. At the end of the day, the only relevant question is: What alternative economic system do you propose that could generate as much wealth and simultaneously elevate the standard of living for the average person year after year, if not Capitalism? And the Occupy crowd looks to the collapsing EU as a model...

The main factor in the housing collapse was the "Affordable Housing Act" which originally inflated the bubble with artificial loans. Government intervention into private industry is seen at best as a "positive good" or and at worse a "necessary evil". But when that industry folds, nobody cares to examine what role over-regulation may have played. When Obama finishes his crucifix of the coal industry and energy prices skyrocket, do think Obama will get blamed... or the greedy coal companies?

You can't argue with a person who doesn't want to accept personal responsibility or recognize where the source of corruption is located. The occupy crowd want their student loans paid off - need I say more about that? - and they erroneously believe that wall street is the main problem rather than looking to the people who are closest to the levers of power: politicians.

Let's not trust you to analyze whether an argument stands when you can't even comprehend the argument itself. The historical implications of my argument say nothing of "devout followers of ... Marx", but it does suggest that the liberal ideology has been careening ever leftward since the 1930s. This is most evident when we have politicians who are openly promoting redistributive policies and the EXACT same rhetoric as that of Marxists - "fair share", "social justice", and wealthy scapegoating

It seems that you've lapsed into purposely misrepresenting my position to conform to your warped logic. Nobody was calling anybody "Marxist" or "Communist" because of a "disagreement". West was identifying and labeling a group who consistently, actively support policies that are in line with and/or lead to Socialism (i.e. AMENDING THE CONSTITUTION TO REDISTRIBUTE WEALTH). Now what about my statement do you not understand?

You don't bring any facts to debate. Those weren't compromises. That's like saying he "compromised" by keep gitmo open - No, he HAD to keep gitmo open, just as he couldn't realistically pull out of either war overnight. Keeping the tax rates the same is NOT a compromise. Republicans compromised on the debt ceiling, just as they will fold on the current Bush Tax cut debate, which, if Obama gets his way will result in increasing revenues by about 17 billion. That will run the gov for a week, maybe

For calling a spade a spade? Or for not disguising his words in political jargon to soothe your delicate senses into complacency? Wait no, that's the other 99.9% of politicians.
