Renewing the Violence Against Women Act is vital to providing services to New Hampshire women and families dealing with domestic abuse, Senator Shaheen said today during a press conference with Senators Patty Murray and Dianne Feinstein. Shaheen spoke about her recent visit to Bridges Domestic and Sexual Violence Center in Nashua, New Hampshire, which would be unable to offer essential services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault if Congress does not reauthorize this legislation.
