the burka is a religious thing because in some islamic interpretation it is a must. and even if it was just a cultural thing it's still personal. BTW I don't support the burka. I support every person's choice if it's no harm to others. but you guys support freedom only when it suits your purposes. Anyway I will stop as you asked and it's your choice to listen to the voice of truth or not.

The burka is not a religious thing, it is cultural and therefore it does not fit into the Canadian culture. It is our business to know who is in our public places, we have cameras to catch crook and it they hid under a burka we can not see them. The support for the burka only comes from ignorant people that should knw better so stop your arguement it has no base in facts.

how could you be so sure that all the ones who cover their faces are criminals?! there's just no logical necessity between them. Again wherever there's a need for identification they have to show their faces and you could even provide women to identify and it'd be totally fine with them but banning the burka is against personal freedom. As for us we don't need to know because it is non of our business. BTW doing something to yourself with your own well isn't oppression.

In the west the only people that cover their faces are bandits(criminals).

How can you be sure it is a woman under that tent? We read people by the expressions on their faces, a smile means happy etc. When you can't see the face the wrong person could be in voting etc. The burka is not a religious item, it is cultural so refusing it is not a slite on their religion.

The burka stands for the oppression of women and we will not have that here.

yes the hammer is large for you to stop it that's why you should ask the government to stop it but not kick the ones who use it. BTW banning the burka is not stopping the hammer. It is freedom violation since freedom gives you the right to free practice as long as you don't hurt others. How on earth does wearing burka hurt others?!! yes you may need to identify the person in airports and such places. but banning it, that's just against what you guys preach for ..

True, but they are not children and the hammer is so large that it is beyond my ability to stop it. I need the government to help and they are starting although slowly. They have banned the burka for new Canadians.

well islam is not a hammer and muslims are not children. Perhaps that's true for what's called radical islam and radical islamists. Other than that in your example you should stop the child from hitting themselves not kick them out.

If you see a young child hitting themselves on the head with a hammer, would you not try to stop them? Well islam is the hammer and muslims are the young child so we have an obligation to try and stop them from hurting themselves with this primative and dangerous cult of death and destruction.
