One of the reasons corporations exist is to separate and protect the private assets of individual shareholders from the corporate business.

If corporations are to be declared "people" then the private assets of individual shareholders should not be protected.

Sorry Mitt...corporations are NOT people, and Citizens United needs to be stopped.

im tired of united states citizens talking about this "democracy". the constitution makes no mention of a democracy. we are a republic, which is fundamentally different in the way it revolves around individual's rights. now granted, this country "operates" as a democracy, or better, under the suspicion that it is, when in actuality we are a corporate lobbied totalitarianism. if you dont believe me, then you need to go read a dictionary and the constitution itself.
