The exposure of Oregon National Guard troops to toxic chemicals during their service in Iraq was appalling and inexcusable. Today Senator Ron Wyden, Congressman Kurt Schrader, and I stood with some of these brave soldiers to show our support for them and for legislation to stop contractors from avoiding liability and making taxpayers foot the bill.
