Washington, DC – Congressman Randy Neugebauer sent a letter to President George W. Bush on Wednesday in support of emergency assistance for Eastland County.

“The flooding in Eastland has been severe and has caused extensive damage,” said Neugebauer.  “Residents are being evacuated, water levels continue to rise, and more rain is on the way.  It is my hope that the much-needed assistance can get to the affected areas as soon as possible.”

In his letter, Neugebauer also expressed appreciation for the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s response so far to the flooding in Texas.
