4.28.2010 - Rep. Pascrell Meets with PLO Ambassador Areikat
Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. met with Ambassador Maen Rashid Areikat, Chief of the PLO Mission to the US, in his Washington, DC office. In their meeting they discussed the need for both Palestinians and Israelis to end incitement. The Ambassador also gave an update on the status of proximity talks and the role being played by the Obama Administration. The Congressman reiterated his strong support for a two-state solution and affirmed that, as he always has, he would work with his Congressional colleagues towards bringing a permanent peace to the region.
