4.12.2010 - The Recovery Act Comes Home To Haledon
Rep. Pascrell holds a piece of corroded water pipe to demonstrate the current state of much of the nation's water infrastructure. Nearly $4 million from the Recovery Act has been allocated to upgrade the Manchester Utility Authority's water system, which serves 2,800 customers in Haledon, North Haledon and other surrounding areas. Rep. Pascrell has also sponsored legislation to encourage private investment in improving the water infrastructure in communities nationwide.
