3.26.2010 - EPA in Pompton Lakes to discuss groundwater contamination

    U.S. Rep. Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ-8) welcomed EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson to Pompton Lakes for a discussion with local officials and residents about the remediation of groundwater contaminated by the E.I. DuPont Co. The discussion followed a report in December from state health officials that indicated a cancer cluster among resdients in the area of a soil vapor plume that emitting from the groundwater. Pascrell is now calling for a meeting between DuPont officials and Pompton Lakes residents.
