3.22.2010 - U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell returns to Pompton Lakes area that had been flooded

    Just hours after voting for the historic health insurance reform bill in Washington, U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ-8), center, returned to a Pompton Lakes neighborhood that had been flooded. Pascrell had been in the community on March 14, as well as in Wayne, Little Falls, West Paterson and Paterson, when flooding forced hundreds of people to evacuate from their homes. With the congressman, from left, is FEMA Deputy Regional Administrator Michael Moriarity, Pompton Lakes Police Chief David Struyk, Pompton Lakes Mayor Katie Cole and resident Ignatius Mongelli, whose home sustained the worst damage in the borough.
