SOCIAL SECURITY REPRESENTATIVES AT REP. ENGEL'S OFFICE WEDNESDAY, JULY 22ND

Washington, D.C.--Representatives of the Social Security Administration will be at Congressman Eliot Engel’s Bronx office on Wednesday, July 22nd to help people with questions and/or issues concerning Social Security.

The service, at the Congressman’s 3655 Johnson Avenue office, is available only by an appointment, which may be made by calling Rep. Engel’s Executive Assistant Richard Fedderman at 718 796-9700.

Rep. Engel said, “This is an ongoing program to bring Social Security help to people where they live. Social Security representatives have been coming to my office for several years and have helped hundreds of people so far.”

The Congressman also directed people to the Social Security website (www.ssa.gov) which offers a wide array of on-line services including filing for retirement, survivors and disability benefits, change of address, replacing lost Medicare cards, or keeping up to date on Social Security matters.
