REP. ENGEL HONORED BY THE HUMANE SOCIETY

Washington, DC -- Congressman Eliot Engel (D-NY-17) received a Legislative Leader award from the Humane Society for his work on animal protection legislation in 2010.  The award was directly related to his work to end the dog meat trade in the Philippines.  Rep. Engel received a 100% rating from the Humane Society for his vote record in the 111th Congress.
