STEARNS VISITING BUSINESSES IN ALACHUA COUNTY ON OCTOBER 21ST AS PART OF HIS JOBS TOUR

TOURING NANOTHERAPEUTICS IN ALACHUA AT 12:30 PM AND PHILLIPS ELECTRONICS IN GAINESVILLE AT 2:00 PM

“Promoting job creation and economic growth is a top priority, and I look forward to visiting these two businesses on Thursday to discuss their success and how to get our economy moving again,” said Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-Sixth).  Stearns built his own successful business before joining Congress and he is visiting businesses throughout the District to get their input and ideas.

Stearns first will tour Nanotherapeutics, Inc., an emerging bio-pharmaceutical company, on Thursday, October 21st at 12:30 PM.  The company is located at 13859 Progress Blvd., Suite 200, in Alachua, FL.  At 2:00 PM, Stearns will tour Phillips Electronics, which manufacturers devices used for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) at the site, located at 3545 S.W. 47th Avenue in Gainesville, FL.
