STEARNS TO PARTICIPATE IN TOMORROW'S TOWN MEETINGS BY VIDEO CONFERENCING OR CONFERENCE CALL

Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-Sixth) is committed to talking with the people he serves in Congress and will participate in the town meetings scheduled for Saturday, April 9th by video conferencing or conference call. Stearns is working tonight in Washington, D.C. to avert a government shutdown and will be working through the weekend if there is no resolution tonight. “I regret that I am unable to attend these town meetings in person, but my responsibilities require to remain here to conduct the business of the American people,” said Stearns.
In addition to Stearns participating in these meetings from Washington, members of his staff will be available to talk to those in attendance, listen to their concerns, and offer assistance in dealing with a federal agency.
