WILL DISCUSS ISSUES AFFECTING HOME HEALTH CARE INDUSTRY AND FRAUD PREVENTION

WASHINGTON, APRIL 30, 2012 – Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-FL) will be addressing the Home Care Association of Florida District III Meeting on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at the College of Central Florida in Ocala.  Stearns, Chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee’s Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, which has jurisdiction over federal health agencies and programs, will talk about the issues facing the home health care industry, including fraud prevention, a topic Stearns has looked at in his subcommittee.  Said Stearns, “Throughout America, millions rely on home health services, especially seniors on Medicare, and I appreciate this chance to give my perspective on the issues facing the industry.”
