STEARNS SPEAKING AT CITIZENS AGAINST GOVERNMENT WASTE POLICY BREAKFAST

WASHINGTON, APRIL 25, 2012 – Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-FL) will be speaking at the Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW) Policy Breakfast at 8:30 AM on Thursday, April 26, 2012.  Stearns will outline the fiscal challenges facing the nation as well as his agenda as Chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee’s Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations.  Said Stearns, “Our total national debt exceeds $15 trillion and the President’s budget continues to borrow over $1 trillion a year.  I look forward with discussing our fiscal future at the CAGW Policy Breakfast.”     CAGW has named Stearns a “Taxpayers Hero” for his record on fiscal responsibility.

CAGW's mission is to eliminate waste, mismanagement, and inefficiency in the federal government.  The policy breakfast will be held in the Offices of Express Scripts, Suite 600, 300 New Jersey Avenue, N.W. in Washington, D.C.
